Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Martian Beings"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Below Average Dave has every intention of keeping his parodies free, however financially it is difficult to do so without some assistance. I have a brand new radio show which will air live on 365 coming January of 2011, this album is to commemorate that show and to raise money for costs which are going to be hard for me to pay without fan support. Enjoy my first ever full length parody album. For a hard copy version, please let me know you are interested and I'll tell you how to get one. They will eventually be posted to Amazon.com and the like, at that time you can get it there!
Martian beings of Saturn we are
The bright light you see in the stars
Always probing, those we've stolen
Tearing humans apart

Soon we'll plunder just for spite
You will all fear us tonight
Spaceships speeding, humans fleeing
Give us all your goods or die

Those who warn you call them insane
One day you'll understand their pain
We were clever, brains we've severed
They will all sound deranged

Guys aren't stronger, than our might
One probe up their butt, they'll cry
You'll be bleeding, start our feeding
Give us what we want tonight

We are not evil, we are just shy
We believe that humans aren't bright
What we're taking, we're replacing
With our knowledge so high

You may shudder, Fill with fright
but be glad that we don't bite
What we're seeking, Salt we're needing
Give us what we need tonight

Salt that's fine, caise That is our fuel
Give it to us, we won't bring doom
Ocean flowing, salt it's holding
That is what we presume

That's not thunder, its our might
Can't you see our rounded lights
Fusion feeding, Our proceedings
We don't have an evil plight

Thank you, this fine salt will suffice
Now we'll give you martian rice
It'll fill ya, for the winter
Saturn to Earth, how nice

So look yonder Saturn's lights
Planet with gasses so bright
Rings are singing, Distant blinging
Guides us to design our flight

I fear that the number of rectal probing aliens coming here are about to skyrocket, I hear the TSA are hiring on those merits...

One of your most unusual Christmas tunes and also one of my favorite. Keep it up Dave!

Thank you Peter and Matthias. . .I have to admit, if I were to pick an initial favorite from my first album-it'd be this one. . .this TOS was the most fun to parody because of the way the original was written and its more normalized length and write scheme compared to the other 11

(SOTM) It's certainly out there Dave. I like it. It's very unique to say the least.

SOTM: Hmm...not totally sure how I feel about this one, to be honest. Not totally familiar with the OS and the subject was a little out there for me (you choose if pun was intended or not haha), but good job!

SOTM Good luck with the parody CD, Dave!!! If it has gems like this one, it's sure to be a hit!

SOTM - Good fit with the OS...and I'm sure it can be well performed. Send those Martians to me, I've got a surprise for them when they try that probe thing.

Man, Martians that come from Saturn are some angry aliens! Enjoyed listening on the album

Pacing? Rhymes? Below average, Dave.

The recording wouldn't have worked if there were pacing or rhyme issues. . .short comment compared to the remarks on other parodies, and anytime someone uses my name against me tells me all I need to know. . .

(SOTM) Interesting parody, if a little weird on the grammar. But hey, it's being sung by aliens who's first language presumably isn't English, that works for me. 555!

OK, name thing was a cheap shot. Apologies.
