Parody Song Title:

"Jay Dee"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Tribute to legendary country singer, and sausage entrepreneur, Jimmy Dean, who passed away on June 14th, at the age of 81
Jay Dee, handsome Jimmy
Lean and tall, big boots, you wore
Big wide "Down Home' smile
Won't warm our hearts no more

Jay Dee, love your sausage,
And your music, and your style
Now you're gone,
You were just with us for a while..

Close your eyes for an eternal rest
You happened by and blessed us
With enchantment..
We're thankful for, the entertaining times
The sparkle of your soul
Was always welcome..

Jay Dee, so long, good friend
Sang your song, now lock the store
Sad, you won't be there
To grace our screen, no more..

Jay Dee, handsome Jimmy,
Now, we bid goodbye to you,
Sad, you won't be there
To grace our screen, no more

Nice tribute Farce - I wonder if he's up there lookin' down on us with "Big Bad John". I was sad to hear of his passing. I have always liked and admired him as an entertainer and a human being.

Touching tribute to Jimmy Dean! Love his music and enjoyed eating his sausage brand any time I can during breakfast! RIP to a renowned country-western legend! 5 sausage links, 5 sausage patties, and 5 breakfast sandwiches for this one!

. . . like Link & Welk . . . I often confused Jimmy with James DEAN , Sir L'AIR .

You mean in name only, right LCC? Jimmy was over six foot tall, and James was short..died young in a car crash..only made 3 films, but was considered by many to be the greatest film actor, ever,...don't believe Jimmy ever made a movie..unless a cameo role, perhaps...Jimmy had a tv show, way back and was a country singer..and then hyped that great sausage

~SaraLee~ took over daSausage, Sir L'AIR; that's how he made his millions! Yes, it is only in name that I confuse the these two . . . but then it could be because the name Jim is rather dominant in my life, Sir !
