Parody of a parody X48! From April 19, 1943- May 16, 1943 the second Warsaw Ghetto battle was raging. At first both Polish and Jewish Resistance Groups (ZOB + ZZW) struck w/o warning when the Germans entered the Ghetto. The SS under Brigadefuhrer Jurgen Stroop was called in and immediately engaged the enemy which was using improvised weapons and crude reinforced bunkers in Ghetto cellars. The SS brought in artillery and systematically started to destroy everything in their path. A particular nasty weapon used was "Pandora" which used coal dust explosive shells to pulverize hard targets of mass rubble into nothing. One shell could bring down an entire building! And yet the resistance continued, the Jews seeking shelter in the sewers. The German used tear gas to flush them out and used dogs to sniff out others hiding in the area. The ZZW fled into an underground tunnel and out into the forest leaving helpless civilians to the SS. Those still hiding in the tunnels were sealed in and then trucks carrying a cyanide gas pumped it in, killing them. The battle raged for over a month but by May 16th was over. The Germans lost 17 killed + 93 wounded. The Jews lost 7,000 killed and 56,000 captured- to be transported to death camps. All attempts to breach the 10 ft walls failed...
