Parody Song Title:

"Welcome To Our Club (Obama's Peace Prize)"

Parody Written by:

Old Man Ribber

It's official...President Obama has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for "his extraordinay efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and co-operation between peoples." Is this premature? Anyway, here is Al Gore and Jimmy Carter...both Nobel Peace Laureates...singing a tribute.
Welcome to our club. Enjoy your Peace Prize.
Bask here in the glow. Try it on for size.
Nominated just - two weeks in your term.
How we love to see - your opponents squirm!

Reached out to the Muslim nations!
Now that you are the man
Iran will stop making their A-Bomb,
They'll disband the Taliban!

'Though your critics say "It was premature."
Just do what we did...spread that horse manure!

To achieve your splendid honor
You jumped through all of their hoops.
Now what's the chance that McChrystal
Is going to get enough troops?

You have joined our club, 'though it's really true
You just won because - you're not Double-U!

Poor timing, alas! Two weeks earlier and the Olympics would be in Chicago! ;D

No, I think the Nobel was a consolation prize for not getting the Olympics.

I received a certification from Novellâ„¢ once but I had to earn it. It's like being in the mob and getting a "piece" of the action. Someone had to say this in parody - glad it is you Ribber. Tell it like it is.

Ribber, I remember when there was actually a committe to have the games come to Cincy and I knew a person on the committee. It really didn't last long. Hey, how about those cardiac kid Bengals.
