Today’s great line: “Boy scouts may come your way...But Roxanne's here to stay”. At least Carole Lombard never had 300 Boy Scouts yelling near her, which, unfortunately, was the case with “Roxanne” on this broadcast. Oh, and BRING BACK THE BRIANTS!!

Well, what else could have fired up the neurons of 300 Boy Scouts than a young woman? Doesn’t matter if it was “Roxanne”, Sally Eilers or even Germaine Briant, I can’t think of anything else that would work in such a way. One of these days, Phil Ossifer will realize that this broadcast was far from “crappy”. Let us hope that this day comes soon.
Porfle Popnecker, that’s a good point. Some of the pictures Carole Lombard took as a Mack Sennett player in 1927-28 were among the most sensational she ever posed for. But only “Roxanne” could have attracted 300 Boy Scouts. That is often overlooked, unfortunately. What other young woman could have accomplished this at any other point in history? Phil Ossifer might want to think about that.
I thought we had already stopped discussing this? This broadcast is just as crappy as it was 72 years ago. Nothing you say will change that, and eight billion “parodies” won’t change that either. Please stop talking about this show, stop bringing up long-dead celebrities, pack up your scratchy records and move on.

I don’t really care much for these parodies but I do like that we were able to reach 300 comments and all.
Sad that all these people wasted time by bringing the number of comments about this broadcast to 300, to try to match the number of Boy Scouts that appeared on this program. And it was all for nothing...
