Inspired by Porfle with an added verse too! The 1940s Superhero The Whizzer is an oddball character named Robert Frank who went on an expedition with his father Dr. Emil Frank into Africa only to be bitten by a Cobra. Dr. Frank uses Mongoose blood for a tranfusion and suddenly his son possesses super agility, super strength, and can run at fantastic speeds of up to 100 mph! He dons a yellow costume and becomes The Whizzer (just like DC's Flash). He joins the Liberty Legion through Bucky of the Invaders and fights the Red Skull. After WW2 he falls into depression, drinking, and becomes homeless until he joins the All-Winners and marries Lady Liberty. Working in a nuclear facility postwar he has a son named Nuklo who has superhuman powers due to the effect of his father's exposure to radiation at the lab and mutant genes! Whizzer fights with the Avengers but is delusional and thinks Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are his children. He has a heart attack and by the end of his career fight Isbisa, a WW2 foe, only to suffer another heart attack and dies, but cures his son Nuklo of radiation contamination! A weird character with a very tragic ending.
