The Lyrics

Inspired from the controversial 1951 episode of the game show “Beat the Clock” that featured 300 Boy Scouts (covered elsewhere on this site).
In my own reflections
On a show transpired,
I think of long ago...

One person remembers
When 300 members,
Of a scout troop were shown...

A girl that day;
One quiet day,
You’ll hear their cheers as if they’re new...

Though the years are flying
And those left are dying,
Never forget this show!

A great tribute to this infamous broadcast, and any survivors that might still be alive.

Has any other moment in human history been greater than this broadcast? You tell me.

If there was, I’d like to hear about it. But there isn’t. This broadcast would be a good conversation starter, though...

More people learned about this broadcast in 2022 than in any other year since the actual broadcast. That’s all I’m going to say.
