The Lyrics

Before I start, I want to apologize for doing so many parodies about the 1951 “Beat the Clock” show featuring 300 Boy Scouts that you all know about by now. I should have kept them at a minimum, and I did about 50 of these. I will never talk about that broadcast again. Since I’m not a movie fan, I’m not familiar with this film, the universe it’s in, or even its actors, but since it’s coming out this week, I felt that I might as well do a parody about it before anyone else. The film comes out Friday, October 21st. And no, I’m not going to do a dozen more parodies about this film. This is just a one-off return to the site.
I always knew,
They’d all watch “Black Adam” soon,

This week, “Black Adam”; watch,
The ads foretold, a film where tickets are sold,
Shown in theaters; it’s new and not old,

Wrote this for fun,
Before there are 13 ones!

This week, “Black Adam”; watch,
I don’t watch films,
But take your kids, they’ll be thrilled,
To see this film, you’ll see,

The ads air often, time-filling,
Commercial appeal,
On “AmIRight”, you can read this,
So see it, it is real,

It’s actor’s fans;
A baby crowd-surfed through hands,
I won’t talk of “Beat the Clock”...
And coming soon,
To a theater near you,
This week, “Black Adam”, watch!
The original recording can be heard on the Internet Archive, and at the website for the Central Institute for Sound and Audiovisual Heritage located in Italy, at internetculturale.it. Note that both links are only to a 30-second portion of the actual recording, but I have never found a longer recording online. Both recordings are derived from an Italian release, Columbia DQ 1447.
