The Lyrics
Well, one of the churches in my state will soon be holding their "Germanfest" fundraising event, which is returning this year after a two-year hiatus. The ads for it are about to begin airing as well. My one-time experience with this event was a bad one and I will never return to it again. So, with the "Germanfest season" returning soon, I wrote a parody based on one of my favorite big band era songs. My suggestion to anyone planning on going to "Germanfest" this year: don't.

They flock to the occasion of a thrill,
A church-sponsored bill,
Smart ones number nil, each one is a loon,

Church father in the limelight on

What this man might do, during a full moon.

Right on the slide, nothing to hide
It should go without saying,
But I don't care, I don't like this fair,

Bounce houses are inflated on
