Parody Song Title:

"Least of Parade"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

"Least of Parade"

If they ceased to run it -- I’d bet my keister on it --
few would miss this lady, she’s the least of Parade.
Her column I don’t go for, so rarely look it over.
I'm left an unwowed fellow by Ms. Least of Parade.
Even if true that her IQ off the graph, off the map is,
that adds no allure to the load of ordure
she writes. Each week I shun it (and I’ve always done it)
´cause vos Savant’s the girl I say's the least of Parade.

© Stan Hall ... Actually, if indeed the least, she's hardly the worst. That'd be the gang of crypto-Nazis whose dominion has in recent years given Walter Scott's Personality Parade® a (Pat) Robertsonian sheen thru' which it's often all but unreadable. Maybe in fairness I should pastiche my state's state song in praise of Ms. vos Savant: "Marilyn, My Marilyn." Nah ... that title too insistently conjures Ms. Chambers. :-)

lol....great bit o' bashin'.....however, for my money 'howard huge" was the least of parade

Thanks, Alvin. True, "Howard Huge" is no "Marmaduke," but I give it a bye just for featuring a dog. Meanwhile, is it more ironic, more clichéd, or more sad that James Brady ("In Step With® ..."), generally the last of Parade, is often as not the best? :-)

It took me a while to figure out what columnist you were writing about until the last line since this is the first parody I saw about Marilyn Vos Savant. She does say some stupid things for someone who claims to be an intellectual - but so did William F. Buckley.

Thanks, 2E. But tell me this ... was it the afterthought mention fo "crypto-Nazi" that brought WFB -- may he RIP, I guess -- to mind? :-)

A very entertaining little spoof, Stan. The Parade usually gets lost in the middle of all of my Sunday supplements; but when I find it, I usually enjoy the column.
