The Lyrics

I know I'm doing an awful lot of folk songs but since I started hearing these songs, I decided to write my own version of them. I wil be writing more later on. if you have any suggestions on what other irish folk songs to parody please let me know in the comment box below.
mustard, you're the devil, you're leaving me a stain
all over my t-shirts and on my favorite jeans
Your tangy flavor overwhelms the taste part of my brain
Oh mustard, you're a dye that gets all over

Oh, now, mustard, you are on my burger, ruining my favorite meal
The buns are yellow, why is that when I just can't stand mustard
loathe you real well, with a tendency to ruin chili dogs, a tendency to ruin chili dogs, refrigerator angers me
There's mustard in the jar. Hey!

mustard, you're the devil, you're leaving me a stain
all over my t-shirts and on my favorite jeans
You're tangy flavor overwhelms the taste part of my brain
Oh mustard, you're a dye that gets all over

Said the mustard jar: "Don't wrong me, don't take my mustard from me
For if you do I will stain your shirt, and after that no bleach will do"
loathe you real well, with a tendency to ruin chili dogs, a tendency to ruin chili dogs, refrigerator angers me
There's mustard in the jar. Hey!

mustard, you're the devil, you're leaving me a stain
all over my t-shirts and on my favorite jeans
You're tangy flavor overwhelms the taste part of my brain
Oh mustard, you're a dye that gets all over

The stain I'm scrubbing roughly, I'm bleaching rather roughly
Gives every shirt its yellow stain, its awful taste on burgers
loathe you real well, with a tendency to ruin chili dogs, a tendency to ruin chili dogs, refrigerator angers me
There's mustard in the jar. Hey!

mustard, you're the devil, you're leaving me a stain
all over my t-shirts and on my favorite jeans
You're tangy flavor overwhelms the taste part of my brain
Oh mustard, you're a dye that gets all over

Hi okayokay. I don't know how many votes you're getting, but if it's not many, it's probably because most people don't know any irish folk songs. It seems a shame if you're putting in all this work not to get any recognition. p.s. if you are getting tons of votes, please ignore this statement

JMJ Nice job. Please keep writing from Irish folk songs. I'll get started in my end. Can you/we do "Green Fields of France", Bob Williamson's Flute,Lilly the Pink, The Star of the County Down? I don't know much Irish folk, but I love what little I know.
