During the infamous 1951 “Beat the Clock” show featuring 300 Boy Scouts, at one point three Boy Scouts were brought onstage, asked to put on blindfolds and boxing gloves, and asked to identify a mystery object, which turned out to be an elephant. All this within a few feet of “Roxanne”, the show’s assistant! This stunt was obviously inspired from the parable, “Blind Men and an Elephant” and adapted to the limitations of television at that time. This parody focuses on this particular scene.

I grew up with The Police. The only famous 'Roxannes' to me are the 1979 hit 'Roxanne' by that band and then there's the mid 80s (my early adulthood) hip-hop classic 'Roxanne, Roxanne' by UTFO.
Well, now you know of another one! And you know of the greatest moment in television history, too! The only question is, how familiar are you with George & Germaine Briant?
