The Lyrics

Sing, (Start in to sing, you’ll have to swing,)
Then, you’ll swing, (Start in to sing, you’ll have to swing,)
That car app is bound to get you,

Oh, (Turn on the heat, then beat your feet,)
Don’t go slow, (Turn on the heat, then beat your feet,)
That car app is bound to get you,

Car app, car app, car app, car app, car app…mmm...

(female vocal)

DriveTime Steps,
Start in to sing, then soon, you’ll be swinging,
DriveTime Steps,
Turn on the heat, your feet will keep beating,

One, two, three,
It’s a new sensation, (dee-de-oh!)
You’ll agree,
It’s the step that’s putting the world on its feet,

DriveTime Steps,
Once you begin, you have to give in to
DriveTime Steps,
Get on your toes, ‘cause everyone knows that

If you’re not a dunce,
Oh, you’ll catch on at once,
Well, simple as ABC,
It’s the DriveTime Steps!

(vocal trio)

DriveTime Steps,
Start in to sing, then soon, you’ll be swinging,
DriveTime Steps,
Turn on the heat, your feet will keep beating,

One, two, three,
It’s a new sensation, (doo-doo-do-doo!)
You’ll agree,
It’s the step that’s putting the world on its feet,

DriveTime Steps,
Once you begin, you have to give in to
DriveTime Steps,
Get on your toes, ‘cause everyone knows that

If you’re not a dunce,
You’ll catch on at once,
Simple as ABC,
It’s the DriveTime Steps, whoa!

DriveTime Steps,
(instrumental call-back)
DriveTime Steps,
(instrumental call-back)

One, two, three,
It’s a new sensation, (doo-doo-do-doo!)
You’ll agree,
It’s the step that’s putting the world on its feet,

DriveTime Steps,
(instrumental call-back)
DriveTime Steps,
(instrumental call-back)

If you’re not a dunce,
You’ll catch on at once,
Simple as ABC,
It’s the DriveTime Steps, whoa!

Simple as the day is long!

When car-buying apps, talking Medicare cards, children’s shows, geezer gals, a brief moment of a radio broadcast, some old couple no one has ever heard of, and some stupid 50’s TV show are considered to be worthy of commemoration, all set to the tunes of songs that were released before most of us were even born, you know that AmIRight has gone downhill.

Hey GeorgeAndGermaineBriantFan, since all those things were brought about by you, are you proud of what you’ve done to the board? Is that why you don’t use your name anymore?

$&@#! You got me again. What a hilarious line: “mostly reprising older entries because I don’t have much spare time”. You’ve done nothing but reprise older entries since your second day on here, and no one could ever post half as much as you without an abundance of spare time. Lastly, I sincerely doubt I’ll be the only one doing cartwheels celebrating your leaving.

You can be sure that we'll ALL be doing cartwheels upon your exit from this site. WHY? Because there is no audience for what you're doing. You are posting for an audience of one .. yourself ..... Which might have been tolerable if you had, as my mother used to say, kept it down to a dull roar .. But no, you had to flood the zone with songs that nobody ever heard of. The whole point of any parodies is to tweak something familiar, which given the right audience, causes laughter. There is no familiarity here, hence there is no joke .... And now you're raging at people who criticize you. Try doing that at a comedy club. Start in with your first Herbie Kaye parody song, and when they inevitably start booing, start cursing them out. Maybe then, they'll "see it your way" But I seriously doubt it
