The Lyrics

Protests has been spreading all around the Middle East...and one or two in the Midwest as well. One place where the ire of said protest is fighting back is Libya in northern Africa. Gaddafi just doesn't get the hint! The title just seemed TOO obvious to pass up so...Share and Enjoy!
Ah, these protests bring back memories
Chaos reigned, stupid signs, tear gas...
Now there's a brand new target
It's name is Libya
Not that guy is old-school crazy
And I'm talking "1940"
Ah, Gaddafi...

He's been the most bad-ass dictator since '69 in decline

Ohhhhh, Libya, oh, Libya; say have you seen Libya
Libya's Muammar Gaddafi
He has hands both stained blood red so
And a dishrag on his head, oh
Libya, oh, Libya, look what "Colonel" did t' ya
Libya, the Granddad of all

He's been mostly quiet; his days often spent
Reliving the days of which he now laments
Before we shot cruise missiles right up his tent
And we put the brakes on Libya!

(Allah-la, Allah-la
Allah-la, Allah-la)

Well, this part of the world
It became so unfurled
When "Egypt us" was shouted out
From Cairo, like a breeze
It blew into Tunis
Now it looks like Muammar is out-and-out

(Allah-la, Allah-la
Allah-la, Allah-la)

Ohhhhh, Libya, oh, Libya; say have you seen Libya
Libya's Muammar Gaddafi
When he was relaxed and resting
Towards Tripoli, folks protesting
Libya, oh, Libya, look what "Colonel" did t' ya
Libya was nuts before all

But the guy just will not give up without a fight
And he killed many showing military might
Meanwhile, down in hell, Pol Pot says, "That ain't right!"
He'll be damned if he leaves Libya!

(Allah-la, Allah-la
Allah-la, Allah-la)

In the Middle East, Iraq still has insurgents
All of them are wanting seventy-two virgins
And over in Persia's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
He's like Kim Jung-Il with slightly less "jihad"

(Allah-la, Allah-la
Allah-la, Allah-la)

Israel, despite Palestine, is so quiet
You'd have confidence, too, if God's your co-pilot
And don't forget all of the Saudis
Without which we can't fill up our Audis

(Allah-la, Allah-la
Allah-la, Allah-la)

Oh, Libya, oh, Libya, look what "Colonel" did t' ya
Libya champ of them all

The people will not let dictators have sway
Much like the "Tea Parties" in the U.S.A.
'Course, now, "right" pundits claim Mad'son and Green Bay
Are exactly just like Libya!

Bye-bye, Libya
(Bye-bye, Libya)
So long, Libya
Bye-bye, Libya (Allah!)

Chris - Great original song, fine parody, and MUCH more coherent than anything said by Gaddafi Duck (Heee's.....despicable!) ;D

Without the Saudis we can't fill up our Audis. Lots of great lines in this one. Insurgents/virgins. And the comparison to what's going on in Wisconsin, at least the highway patrol hasn't opened fire on the union protesters, yet.
