The Lyrics

The all-too familiar tale of a mother delegating laundry tasks to her teenage soon. Not a wise thing to do if she wishes to keep her living room carpet dry!
Poor laundering son!
Soap powder will not fade.
Your jumper's frayed.
Crappily made.
Poor laundering son!

Poor laundering son!
OMO is poured for a shine.
Cold wash all mine,
Ooh jeez whites stained!
Why, leaking has tie-dyed!

K-Mart, large range of powders.
Soak every shirt for hours.
K-Mart, fairly priced lime;
Soak every shirt - from grime!

Ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah, Achoo!

Poor laundering son!
Why did you use the warm rinse?
Mate you're a dink,
My dress did shrink.
Poor laundering son!

Poor laundering son!
Ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah, Achoo!
Poor laundering son!
Ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah, Achoo!
Overflow time!
Lake starts, Lake starts.
Lake grime.
Lake-soaked carpet. Just scour!
Lake starts, Lake starts.
Lake slime.
Lake starts, with mangy powder.
Lake-soaked carpet. Just scour!
Ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah, Achoo!
Lake starts, lake starts.
Ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah, Achoo!

Lake in carpet, now get out!!!

Welcome to the Savoy club. This title seems so obvious now that you found it.

The Gilbert and Sullivan operettes were mostly originally performed at the Savoy theater in London. So they have been refered to as the "Savoy Operas" since. Since you have done a parody from "Pirates" you have joined the club.
