Original Song Title:

"Duke of Earl"

Original Performer:

Gene Chandler

Parody Song Title:

"Puke and Hurl"

Parody Written by:

Guy DiRito

The Lyrics

Puke, puke, puke,
Puke and hurl, puke, puke
Puke and hurl, puke, puke
Puke and hurl, puke, puke

As my guts stew and whirl
Throw, fling and fan debris, as I puke and hurl
Eeyew, eeyew What's this swirl
Some lung too, oh no!

Puke, puke, puke,
Puke and hurl, puke, puke
Puke and hurl, puke, puke
Puke and hurl, puke, puke

Oh no I cry
Dispose of food, oh oh
How come is my stomach quarreling?
Pause again to puke and hurl
wah wah wah wah

I spin and hold chew
I'm in the clutches
as such that I hurl
Can't hock one more puke bomb
It was that spanish rice come to bear

Puke, puke, puke,
Puke and hurl, puke, puke
Puke and hurl, puke, puke
Puke and hurl, puke, puke

Nothing makes you feel uglier than the 24 hour flu. But, Guy why did it have to be the spanish rice, one of my all time favorites! lol

It was the only thing I could think of that both paced and rhymed that you could reasonably eat.

Excellently distasteful, Guy. I think I would have finished with: "I'll walk/Through my pukedom/And I'll satirize/What is there..." Keep up the great work! d;:^)

I'd thought of doing a "Puke and Hurl" myself after some bad leftovers disagreed with me the other night--but it seems two parodists have already beat me to it, 5-5-5.

Awwwww! You must have written that song JUST FOR ME! I loved it, its way batter than the real one! Like EVEY one knows how to puke and hurl, but who knows who the Duke of Earl is? not me!

Duke of Earl is my favorite oldie, so I've written several parodies of it. I started to write my own Puke and Hurl lyrics but I like yours better. BTW I fell in love with the tune because of the descending minor key musical phrase with the notes F-E-D. (oh oops, wrong key signature...I meant G-F-E...the point is I love Duke of Earl.)
