AFW - OK, now I'm getting flashbacks and it's all YOUR fault! My family used to be in the Car Wash business...spent about 14 years at that from my teen-age years until I was about 26 and then one year later on taking over for a cousin in one of his when he had to fire his Sons...Washed THOUSANDS of cars (although most of them not with my own hands...thankfully). Oh, man...Rain is the Bane of a Car Wash Owner's existence...at least out here in So. California...you have to close up...no $$ coming in...but fixed expenses, well, you know...glad to be doing something else, for sure...

This is FABulous, AFW...although, more than rain, I find that the birds in the neighborhood are much more likely to do a "fly by" right after I wash my car...=)
Kind of depends on how long the rain lasts...if it's more than a few days there is no way to catch up the overall lost income...if it goes on for WEEKS at a time...well, that really hurts...and the workers even more so...which is VERY depressing from both standpoints...like I said, glad to be out of it...although I learned a whole bunch about a lot of things, so I don't regret it at all...
