Song Parodies -> "California Uber Alles"

Original Song Title:

"Deutschland Uber Alles"

Original Performer:

Franz Joseph Haydn and Hoffmann von Fallersleben

Parody Song Title:

"California Uber Alles"

Parody Written by:

Adam Bernstein

The Lyrics

California Uber Alles,
Schwarzenegger is the Gov,
"Sieg Heil!" chants in Sacramento,
Is his plan to clean our state
Terminating all subhumans
Making them into lampshades?
Adolph Hitler is his hero,
Heil the Fuhrer of CA.

His dad was a Nazi soldier,
Who taught him to love Hitler,
But he'll get a balanced budget,
(By) exterminating the poor,
Then he'll say he's fixed California,
As he goosesteps all around,
Will he someday be President,
He'll put us in the ovens.

Maybe if somebody told him Milton Friedman is Jewish, he'd really be a liberal.

Arnold, that is, not Milton.

You could have thought of a more original title. There was a song called "California Uber Alles" by The Dead Kennedys.

I am a Californian who did not vote for Schwarzenegger, but this is a feeble parody. Since he was honored twice by the Simon Wiesenthal Center, the Nazi theme is without basis. Since he was born in Austria, he is ineligible to run for President. And finally, I am not familiar with the words of the original, but shouldn't something rhyme?

What a bunch of frigging sophomoric bullsh*t! And I don't even like "Ahnold's" politics. Oh and BTW, I'd put ANYTHING Haydn ever penned up against the BEST that California crappers -- excuse me... rappers -- will ever do. Ah, but that's just unfair for me to say, eh? Haydn actually was an artist. These nitwit (with apologies to the noble nit) rappers just pay their PR folks to TELL us that they are. "SLAPPY SLAPPY BOOM BOOM! DAPPY DAPPY WAH! AS*HOLE MUDDAF*CKER DAT WHAT YOU ARE!" Oh yeah... now there's music... music that just sends the spirit. Why, it makes me want to go out and ethnically cleanse the neighborhood. ;->

Hey, didn't The Dead Kennedys have a song with this title? Maybe you could make a mash-up parody with this along those lines?

Mediocre premise, lame execution. Not a big fan of the Governator, though he's a surprisingly big improvement over the last one, but this attempt comes off pretty limp. This was a teenager, right?
