Parody Song Title:

"Status Quo"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

You know that couple who are constantly bickering? You know...the ones who make you wanna say, "Oh, grow up!"....
Status Quo

Oh the relatives think it’s frightful
The way we act so spiteful
But since we refuse to grow
Status quo! Status quo! Status quo!

It seems that there’s just no stopping
This marital bellyflopping
Our behavior is really low
Status quo! Status quo! Status quo!

Each determined that we are right
Ev’ry contact turns into a storm
If we’re gonna break up this fight
We’ll have to use chloroform

We’ve heard there are some folks sighing
And forever "goo-goo eye"-ing
What that’s like--we’ll never know
Status quo! Status quo! Status quo!

Wow, talk about dysfunctional! I would never get married until I find a man who will really love me, care for me, and to treat me with respect. I will definitely make sure of that. In my case, I would rather be single than miserable. Great parody though. 555.
