Song Parodies -> "The Songs of Donna Summer"

Original Song Title:

"The Things We Did Last Summer"

Original Performer:

Frank Sinatra

Parody Song Title:

"The Songs of Donna Summer"

Parody Written by:

Airfarcewon

The Lyrics

Her style would make the scene,
She was the disco queen
Who made us dance until our feet were numb
The Songs of Donna Summer
We'll remember
For years to come..

First single hit would be,
"Love to Love You, Baby"
With sexy moans and groans
That she would hum..
The Songs of Donna Summer
We'll remember
For years to come..

This Miss from Boston, Mass
Black diva with much class
Then cut her next hit, "I Feel Love"
And with the song, "Last Dance"
Made real, that Grammy chance
Her star was shining bright above..

Live album, "Live And More"
To number one, would soar
It reached the million mark of Platinum
The Songs of Donna Summer
We'll remember
For years to come..

As we weave disco dreams
Out front, her smile still beams
She pushed the disco beat to maximum
The Songs of Donna Summer,
We'll remember
For years to come..

The Songs of Donna Summer
We'll remember
For years to come..

Nice tribute to the lady, AF (and unlike disco's other famous personage, Travolta, I she managed to dodge the Scientology bullet!) ... Eagerly awaiting your follow-on, 'Summer Time'?

Heaven Knows you did a great job here, AFW.I always felt Donna works Hard For The Money and I perk-up whenever I hear her On The Radio.

. . . combining Sinatra & Donna, what could be better, Sir ! This is very good, and it will indeed be remembered, despite the reputation that music from the 80's has! "How Little We Know" . . . . that the 90's would bring us only 'rap' crap . . . .
