And now, the curb is near;
And so I slow her down a little
I see the coast is clear
So I can coast right down the middle.

I wave to George and Barb
As I'm zipping down the highway
And then it brought be down,
That stupid Segway.

A brain, well I have none
And that's why I couldn't remember
To grip the handlebar;
How such a silly thing can dismember.

I planned my morning course
Each curve and step along the fairway
Only to be brought down
By a stupid Segway.

Yes, there were times I had remorse
When I went AWOL from the Air Force.
My business plans went belly up
I mismanaged a baseball club
The SEC couldn't topple me;
No, it was a Segway!

I drank, I've fibbed and lied.
I had my thrill with Al Gore losing.
And then, as the polls would slide,
I found a war to my choosing.

To think I lied to all;
Each citizen around the Beltway,
But then, what caused my fall
Was a stupid segway.

For what is a pres, who is brain dead?
If he can't shift he'll bump his head.
Was it a pebble, was it a rock?
Or a little crack in the sidewalk?
I had no control, didn't see the pothole
...that stupid segway!!!
