Over steadfast Britain
A deadly battle rages
Between the few, but proud
Against trained German aces
Hurris and Spits gather
To intercept the bombers
While Messers and Stukas
Can’t fight for too much longer
(Too late, would ditch in water)
A lone Luftwaffe ace
Flying in his Emil 4
Is hit and in trouble
He may be out of the war

Dead Luftwaffe pilot
His spirit lives on
His plane returns to base

The ground crew awaits him
He’s now late, still not around
Then his plane is spotted
