As most of you know, the original song has four verses, all of them wonderful. But most parodies of this song on this site have only the one verse that we hear all the time, and so does mine. I saw a bumper sticker the other day that said "Land of the free because of the brave".....
O say can't you see past the pawns and the blight
Who so loudly assail every effort to free men?
Yellow stripes bear no scars
They have not known a fight

"Let's retreat", they are screaming
But the rocket's red glare is the way we got here
