Robert, is there some way you could post a link to the original poem somewhere?
I took the poem from one of my niece's children's activity books while visiting my brother. I wrote it down and then came home and copied it over to WPS, then used syllabic encoding, and re-wrote it with the ALF theme line-by-line in minutes. I doubt there is an Internet link for such children's materials, same for various anthologies I am in as well as a million other poets. I am in 20 anthologies myself! Maybe a search for Erin Burrell may yield something...???
A note to JAB and others waiting for me to finish my "Oblivion" series based on Edymion Part IV by Keats- sorry, but I have been delayed frequently by severe sickness and ER visits/hospitalizations this year. But I will continue when I have some free time :)
I thought ALF was quite amusing. He grew in my estimation in the episode where said "Musicals are dumb, Everything's going along normally, and then all of a sudden for no reason, everyone breaks into song". AMEN, alien.
