Sad to say, but the REPs are not budging on the looming Govt. shut-down. Not so much to halt the out of control DEM spending (now $17 Trillion, more than GDP two years running), but to specifically call for de-funding of Obamacare. As a REP I am disgusted with both Obamacare as Unconstitutional (no matter what Roberts voted) and also that no interim solution can be found like delays for implementation and assessment of those states that don't have the ability to expand Medicaid for millions of newly insured and also for simpe, solutions for employers. It's a disaster and will prove a costly one. There aren't even enough doctors nor facilities to supposedly take in these millions of newly insured and robbing Medicare to pay for parts of this is also irresponsible. During hard times it is the poor and the Middle Class that gets screwed the most. But what do we expect from these Govt. bums? There's no bipartisan support for anything anymore- the lines are drawn.
