No name as famous,
It says, Hollywood..
The well known landmark
Way up in the hills there
That gives such thrills there
To new young hopefuls in town..
Those, who, with pride walk
On that great sidewalk,
And dream there is where they'll
Have their names found..

When first erected sign read,
"Hollywoodland"
An ad for good land,
Fine houses and neighborhood..
Then after market crash,
And world war II was ash,
Became just, "Hollywood"

And arson setters,
Protesters, once, made "Wood" - "Weed"
A Pope John sell-out,
They took an "L" out
So it said, "Holywood" to fit the need..
