Most of us have seen photos of the extremely over-the-top Christmas Tree decorating the rotunda of the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi. The 43 foot high tree is decorated with gold, diamonds, and other precious gems and cost an estimated $11 million to trim. Gee...I thought Americans were the world standard for vulgar displays of comsumption! At least, since Abu Dhabi is an Arab Muslim nation, I guess it proves that "diversity" can cut both ways! ;D
Way down in the Persian Gulf - there's a sight that we all know well,
Sitting in the lobby of - the Emirates Palace Hotel.
With ornaments of gold and gems - much more than ten million bucks worth,
The richest holiday tree on Earth!
Abu Dhabi Christmas Tree - is something that you must see.
It's a vision to behold!
