The Lyrics
Was reading a book the other day on Amphetamine use during WW2 and discovered that British chemists came up with Fizzy Whizz Cola (aka Devil's Brew) which was a mix of Methadrine with caffeine! My parody was to be solely on that drink but too little info, so I added Allied Benzadrine and didn't mention the German use of millions of pills of Pervatin to D.IX.
Sent the Tommies a drink from home
chemist “Devil's Brew” mixed stuff,
Was methedrine mixed with caffeine,
it f-cked their soldiers up!
[Nicknamed Cuckcoo Cola)
The other one was benzedrine
shared with the damn Yankees,
With their Cokes and Camel smokes
fighting those damn Nazis!
Amphetamines:
Was a World War med play
Both sides used them each day
Was a high price to pay
… to stay alert
[The Brits hated Cuckcoo Cola]

Say, didn't they have this product in the episode "The Cola Cult" in Rescue Rangers? Turned up in Darkwing Duck on occasion too, as I recall...
Don't know those shows, but thanks for the vote. The Luftwaffe also had both a chocolate amphetamine candy bar and choco-drink. Devil's Brew was also known as Satan's Little Helper. Post-war, Britain tested LSD on an infantry battalion with disastrous results!!!
