The Lyrics

...I am right and you know it.
I know a lib senator who made up a lie, I don't know why he made up a lie, I guess he'll die.

I know a lib senator who created a rumor; there was no humor in making that rumor...

He made up a rumor to cover his lie,
I don't know why he made up a lie, I guess he'll die.

I know a lib senator who fibbed under oath, just opened his throat and fibbed under oath!

He fibbed under oath to hide his rumor (there was no humor in making that rumor)
He created a rumor to cover his lie
I don't know why he made up that lie, I guess he'll die.

I know a liberal leader who blamed all he could, thought he'd look good to blame all he could.

He blamed all he could as he fibbed under oath
He fibbed under oath to hide his rumor (there was no humor in making that rumor)
He created a rumor to cover his lie
I don't know why he made up that lie, I guess he'll die.

I know a lib senator who used made up facts, to cover his tracks he used made-up facts.

He used made up facts against those he blamed
He blamed all he could as he fibbed under oath
He fibbed under oath to hide his rumor (there was no humor in making that rumor)
He created a rumor to cover his lie
I don't know why he made up that lie, I guess he'll die.

I know a lib senator who was a tax cheat; a master of deceit and a crooked tax cheat...

He was a tax cheat using more made up facts
He used made up facts against those he blamed
He blamed all he could as he fibbed under oath
He fibbed under oath to hide his rumor (there was no humor in making that rumor)
He created a rumor to cover his lie
I don't know why he made up that lie, I guess he'll die.

I know a lib senator who had no good morals; he died without laurels

Let's see if I can get through this one without addressing the politics therein, or getting mean about it... The base song was a good choice, and I think you're the first one to try it. That's worth a point in itself. It shows something previously lacking in your work (and especially your comments): Imagination. Humor/rumor was a good rhyme. So was cheat/deceit. But the pacing was off, and you never identified the Senator in question. (The last Senator to die in office was Paul Wellstone, but you don't mention a plane crash, so that lets him off the hook.) So, once again, your writing skills need vast improvement. And that's as nicely as I can put it.

Michael Pacholek - I don't think the pacing was off, maybe you should re-sing it again and make the pacing and words fit, (it helps me when I read parodies that are a bit off… to fit in the singing to force them to fit!) Thanks for the compliment regarding the rhyming though, that was big of you, considering your political feelings and all, shows promise! (really, thanks!)

Anonymous - perhaps if you used your own identity and had a vocabulary that was more important than what you apparently have, I would care more about your comment, (but somehow I doubt it).
