I wrote this about two years ago to contribute to Max DeGroot's growing Christmas song collection...but he felt it really wasn't "topical" enough at the time. Well, with the "fiscal cliff" looming and both sides pretty much refusing to even LISTEN to the other side, I'd say it's MORE than topical now! Share and Enjoy!

Up on Capitol Hill
Here we come a-squan-d'ring
Our time not passing bills
You send us to D.C.
And we waste time happily

Republicans and Democrats

DKTOS, but a good assessment of the political gridlock in DC. You sure brought a good share of Right-Wing nutcakes out with this one, so I rate this a "5" in that even though there is no place in the voting area to mark it.
