The Lyrics

i am in total AWE. this song fits the music like a glove. i laid the original out double spaced and wrote below it, verse by verse, it all fits like it was written for it this is probably one of the best i have done i think, and it took me 15 min to write and correct it.
Oh Holy Sh*t, I cant beleive its Morning, Drank all night hope i got my moneys worth.

parked by the road, asleep and snoring loudly, Til He appeared and shined his light upon me.

an open beer lays on the seat beside me, and yonder stands, The deputy, not smiling.

down on your knees, and hear your rights recited. the night was fun, but it ends surprisingly.

OH Holy Sh*t Oh what the hell im caught again

OH Holy Sh*t Oh what a night im drunk again

led by the ear, i see the squad car looming, with glowing lights, and a radio aroaring.

Across the seat i am tossed so unpolitely, now comes the truck, my Car is gone again.

The King of Beers, has Made his Mark upon me, This latest stunt will cost like Christ Almighty.

He has my keys, and shoves me to a stranger. Lift up your face, turn to the right do not bend. Lift up your face ,turn to the right do not bend.

Truly he has caught us we cannot blame another, the law has won, Just let him speak his peice.

the doors will break, your shoved in with another, Just hope his wife has let him have a peice.

Sweet hymns of Joy, You sorry social drinkers, with all your hearts you thought you could escape. this is the law and you will not get free

And to the Judge We hope we can explain!

And to the Judge We hope we can explain!
you gotta vote for this one love it or hate it, its a drop in for your christmas carol this year.!!

in order to appreciate this song, you really need to read and listen close to the original, its a rambling wreck basically a heap of praises that rhyme tossed together.

You ain't seen "holy s---" yet, but it's comin'. Oy, are you gonna get letters... Oh yeah, and this was terrible.

It mostly keeps the pace of the original, but somewhere towards the end some words didn't quite fit in and made it a bit messy. But other than that, it was great and it gave me a good laugh.

I have entered 7 songs on this board thus far and ALL 7 are nothing but ROUGH DRAFTS. this took a total of 20 minutes to write.. i will repost the revisions of all of them soon, as i have made changes for the better in every one, since i have been going over them.

Maybe you should do the rewrite BEFORE honoring us with your autistic greatness

whats the difference? this is one small title in a sea of them.i write these crude comments so people will at least look. as i have said before i would rather have 1 song published then 1000 posted here. besides these carols largely dont make a lot of sense to begin with. take Oh Holy Night and see what you come up with. my fav so far is Away With a Stranger. After reading a few of the songs on here, i concluded that yes even monkeys can do this. more then likely the only people that see these are the authors that post here.

There's a twelve-step program just waiting for you, Gar!

Gary - From a technical perspective, what you're writing really aren't "song parodies". From a social perspective - you might want to consider that taking songs Christians sing to honor God, and running them through the sh*t is very offensive. Easy to be crude - Not so easy to be funny.

Come on David, Bob Rivers gets a mighty sum of money for stuff like this! But Gary, do take the time to rewrite before submitting, it makes it all the more better. Hell, if you were paid to do this, you wouldn't turn in crap, would you? ;) 454 from me.

Sounds like the plot to "Hey, Dude Where's My Car?". I like the irreverent title, but needs a polishing.

I came, I saw, I read, I cringed...then I "one'd"...this was execrable, even for a reader who isn't easily offended by irreverence...and made even worse for all of the author's hubris about how wonderful a work it was...Phew!
