"Mighty MG-3"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

The awesome MG-3 retained by the German Army originated with the WW2 MG-42 GPMG. At 1300 rpm it was nicknamed "Hitler's Buzzsaw" and the sound of it was like "tearing calico" according to Allied troops that faced it. Only the MG-81 aircraft MG was faster at 1600 rpm and used in triple for Stuka gun pods that shot 4800 rpm OR the phenomenal airfield defense gun SaMaKa which was 8x MG-81s firing 12,800 rpm to protect Me-262s from loitering marauders trying to "bounce" them! The postwar Bundeswehr retained it and re-designated it, converted to fire 7.62mm NATO rounds down from WW2 7.92mm.
Ask any gunner
in infantry,
What's the best machine gun?
Mighty MG-3

Was "Hitler's Buzzsaw"
shot with lightning speed,
What's the best machine gun?
Mighty MG-3

(Former MG-42) 1300 rpm, easy
Cut right through any enemy

[Allied troops heard it and peed]

Still retained
Mighty MG-3!!!
