Unpleasant!
Our wind that is incessant.

Here on my street the folks are nice, the neighbors effervescent.
But on fair days - or rain, snow, ice - howling winds blow quite incessant.
No gentle breeze or playful gust, it's one prolonged wind tunnel.
More oft than not its swirls are just - like a twister with no funnel.

Incessant!
Depressant!
The wind that is incessant.

Each week it fells the garbage cans, and hurls our front porch chairing,
But guys next door still make no plans. They're upwind so they're not caring.
There is no need to rake our leaves. They pass through like a rover.
The ones that stay, my wife believes - come from two cities over.

The wind that is incessant.

If some windmill I could create, I'd mount it on a tower.
With all the juice I'd generate - I'd never pay for power.
But my bad luck's a bitter crop, and I am surely knowing
If I built it, the wind would stop - it's everlasting blowing.
