The Lyrics

Here is the song all about the biggest winner, the opening of "Deadpool & Wolverine".
Inside my theater I saw two snacks
Wrapped up in filthy and Deadpool
The screens are blushing landlord red
The dishes pile up, my screen sinks

It's become my second big film
To wander through the big win
And stare into the giveaways gaze of a box time
Doesn't always make me feel better
Just less alone
Less alone

Found the big ticket I traded
For a big popcorn of the movies
Many years and I've never played it
The acid's leaked, am I too late?

I wander through the theater
Asking, "What is my true movie?"
Can I take care of anything?
Or anyone I'm eyeing?
Don't wanna drink the Coke
Just because I'm trying
To be less alone

Less alone
Less alone
Less alone
Less alone
Less alone
Less alone

22½% original! I believe that is a new record. And I see the beginnings of an independent story forming, and no word-agreement mismatches. I'm impressed. Good job.

@ Glenn: When I was noob here twenty years ago someone posted a parody with only ONE changed word in the title line and nothing else altered at all and that still completely changed the meaning of the song. I didn't appreciate the accomplishment enough at the time because if I had I would have bookmarked it for future reference instead of forgetting who wrote it and what song it was. Keeping one original line usually looks sloppy, but keeping several for good effect is more like a rare subgenre here on AIR, and toing the line between those two extremes is as hard as finding good ideas for even trying. Duc4AmIRight did a good job here methinks. :-)

PS How did you force the line change in Comments? I'll spare you the lookup on the one-word change link. In 1966, Petula Clark released My Love. A year later, Ed Kilbourne changed the word "my" to "God's". As far as I know, there were no copyright suits. She must have liked it.============================================================================================================================================================================================ My love is warmer than the warmest sunshine Softer than a sigh My love is deeper than the deepest ocean Wider than the sky My love is brighter than the brightest star That shines every night above And there is nothing in this world That can ever change my love Something happened to my heart the day that I met you Something that I never felt before You are always on my mind, no matter what I do And every day it seems I want you more My love is warmer than the warmest sunshine Softer than a sigh My love is deeper than the deepest ocean Wider than the sky My love is brighter than the brightest star That shines every night above And there is nothing in this world That can ever change my love Once I thought that love was meant for anyone else but me Once I thought you'd never come my way Now it only goes to show how wrong we all can be For now I have to tell you everyday My love is warmer than the warmest sunshine Softer than a sigh My love is deeper than the deepest ocean Wider than the sky My love is brighter than the brightest star That shines every night above And there is nothing in this world That can ever change my love My love is warmer than the warmest sunshine Softer than a sigh My love is deeper than the deepest ocean Wider than the sky My love is brighter than the brightest star That shines every night above And there is nothing in this world That can ever change my love

@Pete & duc: I was serious when I said Good job, and I’m impressed, because I truly am. Now I know that there are many good parodies that require seemingly trivial adjustments by the parodist. But I also maintain that they are rare. I admit I do frequently encourage duc to rely less on the OS for his parodies and more on himself. The blend is often the funniest part. Duc, think that this is your best parody ever, and it came on the parody that you used the most of your own words.
