The Lyrics

This is my ultimate fantasy. I just applied to my first choice school and I'm guaranteed admission, will all happen, except for the whole all-my-friends-bursting-into-song thing, that will always remain a fantasy.
(Two Mock Trial Girls on their cell phones)
-Hi, Maggi!
-Hi, Lora!
What's the story, morning glory?
What's the tale, nightingale?
-Tell me quick, did she really get in?!

(Two more Mock Trial Girls on their cell phones)
-Hi, Kari!
-Hi, Anna!
What's the story, morning glory?
-What's the word, humming bird?
-Is it true that our Ellie got in?

(Chorus of random girls on their cell phones)
Did she really get in?
Did she apply online?
Did it come in email?
Did the Letter shine?
Well, I heard she got in
Yeah! Yeah!
I was hopin' she would!
She's accepted at last,
Early Action is good!

(Ellie and Desmond, on cell phones)
Des: Hello, Mrs. Meadows, this is Desmond Martin
Can I speak to Elana Marie?
Ellie: I got into Western!!!!
Des: Hello? Ellie!
Ellie: I just knew it somehow!
Des: I'm coming home...
Ellie: I must call all my friends!
Des: Saturday?
Ellie: I can't talk to you now!

(Chorus of Random Students)
Early Action, you know it man
Is rockin', man
Early Action!,
Man, it's crazy, man!
Early Action!,
You know it,

I'm not done!
Not at all!
Four more apps!
Just this fall!

(Des, trying to get ahold of Ellie)
Hello, Mags and Lora, this is Desmond Martin,
Is Ellie with one of you?

(Students calling Ellie)
Hi, you Ellie!
Christ, I'm jealous!
Early Action is a godsend!
You guys are gonna get in soon
Random students:
You're so lucky
You'll go free, yes you could
(Random students)
Early Action...
Now you've got in at last
It's amazing
First choice school, in for--

Hello, Mrs. Meadows, is Elana off her cell yet?

(Mock Trial Girls)
-Did she really get in? Early Action?
-I was hopin' she would
-She's accepted at last
-Early action is good!

Now I finally know, if I get to go,
Here's the letter, look!
They sent me a book,
Am I gonna go?
Am I gonna go?

Well, I heard she got in! (oh man!)
I was thinking she would! (Oh man!)
She's accepted at last (Ohhhhh MAN!)
Early Action is good
Early Action, Early Action,
Early Action,
Will I get in?
Early Action, Early Action,
Early Action,
Will I get in?!

(Mock Trial Girls)
Let's say it again,
Our Ellie got in!

Early Action, Early Action
Early Action (will I get in?!)
Well, well, oh oh oh
Well, well, oh oh oh
That's the way it should be! (Oh yeah!)
She'll be happy, I know!
Early Action for me.
Wonder where I will go!
Early Action, Early Action,
Early Action...will I get in?
Early Action,
Early Action,
Oh yeah!!!

I know a Kat in real life. Who is in the production of Bye Bye Birdie at school. This is scary.

I worked on a "Bye Bye Birdie " production in the summer after sixth grade, that's why I can know the pacing and vote accordingly.

Oh, thank God! I don't want the Kat from school to know my "other" identity, because that would be embarrassing.
