The Lyrics

My tribute to some of my favorite authors. I think of this site as candy for my mind. Though often there is both fiber and essential nutrients hidden within
One evening I was feeling down and my jangled nerve ends burning
On the track towards homicide I feared that I was turning
Was heading for insanity not far away by my accountin'
What saved me was discovery of the Big Thought Candy Fountain

There's a Big Thought Candy Fountain at my favorite web site.
Where the talent flows and gushes. And it's called AmIRight.
There's great authors aplenty and I visit every day
Where the parodies are sure to please
Sometimes on a whim I contribute a hymn
To the Big Thought Candy Fountain.

At the Big Thought Candy Fountain some authors pull your leg
Lay on bull sh*t or strive to teach. Either way for more I beg
Some parodies are oh so cute and others quite risque
Where I'm bound to go when I'm feeling low
I must heed the call and go with the flow
Of the Big Thought Candy Fountain.

At the Big Thought Candy Fountain folks think outside the box
And all the supreme folderall tickles me down to my socks.
There's alvin, Arwen, Red Ant, Cat, Ravyn, Kristof, Phil
Matthias, Stu, AFW, Dee, Royce, Merry and Pippin too
Where John A Barry puts a spell on you.
At the Big Thought Candy Fountain.

At the Big Thought Candy Fountain you'll find Paul Robinson
Ricks Cormier and Duncan, Agrimorfee, Jeff Reuben
Johnny D and TJC and LLB and Spaff
How I'd love to play all the live long day
And make fun of the jerk who likes to lurk
At the Big Thought Candy Fountain.

You're on top of the Burl! Beautifully written and just wonderful! How's the view from the pinnacle of K-555?

Very nice, and extra credit for "folderall." I'd love to find on OS whose title would rework as folderol.

Mama, rest her soul, always wanted to see my name in print. But outside of police blotters and post office walls, this is the first time she would have had her wish. This OS is an old fav of mine, and you nailed it. And I echo your sentiment about the authors you mentioned. I doubt I belong among them, but thank you for the mention. The creativity and brilliance exhibited here is unmatched on the web IMO, but the list needs another name...yours!

Excellent parody, well crafted (and not just because you threw my name in there). Thanks for that, by the way. :-) 555

Thanks TJC, John, Dee, AFW, alvin, Rick C and Matthias. You are among the people who bring much joy into my life and this is the least I can do to thank you.
