She wouldn't commit to enforce Title Nine
Said disabled children no special help need
Part of her backward educational creed

If she had her way, public schools would be dead
Taxpayers funding privates and charters instead
She thinks public school teachers are overpaid
But their meager salary she never made

She never attended nor taught in our schools
Nor sent her kids there nor administered rules
She's totally clueless about student loans
Her nationwide critics jammed Congress's phones

Two GOP Senators said they'd vote "No"
Murkowski and Collins said she had to go
Her cure for school violence was really out there
Some classrooms might need guns to stop grizzly bears

Still she was confirmed; since the Senate was tied
Vice President Pence had to help her get by
America's dumbing down got a big boost
The Trump voters' chickens have come home to roost
