All politics is ultimately local. For me, that would be Kansas City, Kansas, or more broadly, the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. Any resemblance of your community to the following is a dirty, rotten shame.
Where the bison once roamed

And the innocent victims are slain

While the politics drive us insane

Drunks stand on the corner to pee

While the lowlifes prevail

To shoplifters and bums

Happened to me three times in just a few months. I was in the right lane. The driver in the left lane turned right at an intersection, right in front of me. Not unusual at all. It isn't common, but it is legal in Kansas to carry firearms openly. In Kansas City, Missouri, you may carry openly only if you have a concealed carry permit. Otherwise you may only carry concealed. A local attorney is well-known for saying, "It doesn't have to make sense, it's only the law".
