I got this idea from the Luanne comic (Eyez of Zeye) in my paper today and then came up with a comic book storyline that I am gonna develop. The story: Zaya (aka Simone Ocarra), is a young Basque girl who lost her mother to an evil sorcerer who murdered her in secret- hoping no one would ever find out. But since her mother went missing, Simone suspected foul-play as he had been lusting after a new exotic dancer from E. Europe. In desperation, Simone gives herself over to a powerful demonic spirit Tirrath using the sorcere's own secrets and then gazes into the sorcerer's crystal ball to learn of her mother's true fate. Tirrath granted her the power to see, but also cursed her with the power to turn anyone's worst fears into psychological hell if they stared directly into Simone's alluring eyes. Only the pure of heart or a man of God would not be touched. She murdered the magician, but must remain alone for life unless she can find a pure man. Resigned to defeat, she roams the world stalking evil men to bring hell to. Has the power of mind manipulation and control which can kill. Can cause hallucinations or false visions for her own purposes. But all is not lost as a fallen priest turned vigilante, the Crimson Cross, falls in love with Simone from a distance. His fortress is an abandoned church where she cannot set foot (becomes blinded and crippled the nearer she gets to anything holy). Will she purge herself of her demonic powers and find the man of her dreams? I'm not going to tell ;-D

Children are also her weakness b/c of their innocence. She cannot look into their eyes or will burn inside. They can see her as she really is.
