The Lyrics

Here's number five in my continuing series of "Threes". As a musician, I've always loved outstanding trios and three star "super groups"...everything from Emerson, Lake, and Palmer to Lambert, Hendricks, and Ross (now THERE"S an incredible vocal jazz group). Which brings me to a question which a parodist once asked on amiright to the tune of I Am The Very Model Of A Modern Major General...Does Crosby, Stills, And Nash Need Young? ;D

If you want splendid harmonies,
(Then) Dig all those great acts of threes.

More nice than unexpected cash -
The songs of Crosby, Stills, and Nash.

What group can stir those Motown dreams?
None quite so much as The Supremes.

The grandest folk sound of them all
Was made by Mary/Peter/Paul.

And sibling trios still aspire
To Sisters Andrews and McGuire.

Three Tenors, Lettermen, all these.
(Those) Musical great acts of threes.

If you booked these groups, would you be a "manager o' trios"? ;D
