The Lyrics

When I look today,
It’s raining away,
Dish Network’s inside from the pool,
A raining, soaking pool,

Five; yes, five,
Kids dancing inside,
And rain’s falling down from the sky,
Dish Network’s here, no pool,

...I cannot wait,
To finish this date...

With Dish Network you can stay inside and forget of the change in birthday plans,
Bake a sugar free cake, watch kids shows, make sure the party won’t get out of hand,
Yes, siree!

With DirecTV,
Shows we couldn’t see,
We get them all with Dish for free,
Except we don’t, you see,

Watch and hide,
Dish Network inside,
Don’t go in the pool!

As of September 22, 2022, the DISH Network ad “When You Really Need TV” has been renewed until December 31, 2999. Every future generation will see this amazing TV commercial every night for their entire lives and like it.

We don’t talk about that here. We only talk about the 1951 “Beat the Clock” show featuring 3,000 Boy Scouts. And we’ll keep talking about it until a copy of that show is located. Until then...
