Two years ago, on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, I decided to seriously research the game show “Beat the Clock”. Three and a half weeks later, on Saturday, October 10, 2020, I learned of the 1951 episode of the show that featured 300 Boy Scouts. Learning about this broadcast completely changed my worldview, and I hope that the same will happen to you.
Boy Scouts in the moonlight,
Not a camping trip,
At a “Beat the Clock” show,
On a weekend!
Boy Scouts in the moonlight,
Sighing little sighs,
Cheering loudly one night,
Right at a woman’s eyes,
Things were said, and lines crossed,
George Briant watched this,

OK, I know that you are all sick and tired of hearing about this broadcast. But nobody else knew about this broadcast when I first learned about it on October 10, 2020. When I learned that this broadcast had happened, I felt that I had to tell everyone about this broadcast, so that’s why I wrote so many of these parodies. And seeing as everyone on this site knows about this broadcast now, I can say that this has been accomplished. I will no longer be writing parodies about this particular broadcast anymore. You don’t have to tell anyone about this broadcast if you don’t want to, I just wanted to make sure this broadcast wasn’t forgotten. Not to mention how inherently hilarious it is that these parodies got more attention than my username itself, which is named after George & Germaine Briant, an actual long-married couple from Louisiana. But I’m done with these parodies now. One thing’s for sure: at least this broadcast is no longer forgotten. And one more thing: Have a happy 2022 holiday advertising season.
