The Lyrics

Stands in a place..Washington DC
A building built for our liberty
From every state, Representatives
It's really our freedom lives
Heritage..won in fights..
It's the House, The House of True Rights

Voted 'em in, all the ones who serve
Servers of might, good foresight and nerve
They lead our land, and they write the bills
Promote harmony for all the valleys and hills
Keep our souls in their sights,
At the House, The House of True Rights

They're workers, toilers
They're voting and quoting the books
Patriots on the beam,
So everybody can live
The American Dream..
Our flag flies..high as kites
'Bove the House, The House of True Rights

'Bove the House, The House of True Rights

They vote on bills they haven't read. Our liberties will soon be dead.

Patriotically, historically, and constitutionally written parody, AFW!! I've enjoyed this and most of your show tune based parodies as well! 5's!

Agreed with everyone above! This was a great job (although I DKTOS), and it shows how a political parody should be written: easily understood by laymen and politicos alike, funny, and most importantly of all (at least here at AmIRight): nonpartisan. I might return a vote later if I can dig out an Andrews Sisters 78 from my record collection and compare the OS to your parody.
