The Lyrics

musical introduction:

1.
O give us an OS that's open,
And to use it our coder force;
And we'll free all the world's computers,
With our OS of Open Source;
Say Goodby to Micro$oft's power,
We'll replace their bugs and their sleaze;
The Longhorn shall yield to the Penguin,
And Liberty shall rule PCs.

CHORUS
O give us an OS that's open,
And to use it our coder force;
And we'll free all the world's computers,
With our OS of Open Source.

musical interlude:

2.
Micro$oft the foe of our freedom,
paid SCO crook Darl McBride today,
an attempt to make sure that our OS,
through their lawsuits shall pass away.
But This scheme shall die and we shall be,
more robust than ever before;
We'll boycott the greedy old tyrant,
And bankrupt Billy Gates at the door.

(CHORUS)
O give us an OS that's open,
And to use it our coder force;
And we'll free all the world's computers,
With our OS of Open Source.

musical interlude

3.
And where is an app from Micro$oft,
to compete with us with success?
As we sweep all computing work places,
Of their Windows and Office mess.
We're determined to stop their scheming,
For forced software rental and lease;
Then prove to ALL despots of software,
rent, Liberty reigns on PCs.

(CHORUS)
O give us an OS that's open,
And to use it our coder force;
And we'll free all the world's computers,
With our OS of Open Source.

musical ending.

Don't blame the author, blame the website. It appears the bug that is causing fields to go missing is back again. I am going to start looking in to the possible cause soon.
