I began writing parodies in 1997, but not good ones. My first parody was to the tune of "Love potion number 9" called "Red Wine," it was definitly very bad. My seccond was "I am a gambler" to the tune of "Im a believer" which as well was bad when I first wrote it. In September 2000, I found amiright.com, and began submitting parodies. My first amiright submission was "Mrs Reno" to the tune of "Mr Roboto," it didnt chart. I put out a cupple of bad parodies such as: "Smells like a lawsuit" and "My grades(are going down)." None of them charted. I submitted "Loser" to the tune of "all star" which was my first hit, and still remains my best voting wise. By now it was November of 2000, time for the election. I submitted 23 political parodies, very little that I liked. I however did get some hits out of the political songs such as: "Bill and hillary down in the whitehouse" and "Movin out(slick willies song)." I eventually made the smart decision of stoping the political songs and going on back to normal, but I had seen another writer at the site, William Tong, and I didnt like his political statements, so I wrote a parody about him known as "william Tong" to the tune of "jeremy." I followed that up with "its the same old point"-"same old song" and "Jack ass"-"All star." I didnt like any of those too much, and he did fight back with some parodies about me. Otherwise, "jack ass" remains my seccond best parody and was my first number one hit. So then finally I decided to stick to normal songs. I charted hits with: "Long island 2005," "Losing my virginity," "Sex preditor," and "Y2k" which were all favorites of mine. Then the charts went down, so I wasnt too sure about hits or non-hits for a long time. Then when they came back up again, I couldnt chart until I checked out the missheard lyrics on this site and found "Drift away" by Dobbie gray. I realized that a famous one was "Give me the beach boys" instead of "Gimme the beat boys" so I thourght up a parody about my day and how much I hate newer music. It was of course to the tune of "Drift away" and it was called "Seize the day." It charted with a perfect 5.0 on pacing, and instantly went to number one. I then reached 50 parodies at this site. To honor my 50th parody, I submitted an old one from 1999 called "moronic" to the tune of "ironic." It charted as a number 2 hit. As a number 51, I re-did "I am a gambler" and made it a very good parody. It charted to number 4. I, since then have had hits with, "Welcome to my bedroom," Afghanistan Pie," "Slim fast," "Damn electric bill," "Little miss cant write songs," "Student(a classroom opra)," "Livin in the ghetto," Enter Mailman," "3 thousand miles," "The STD song," "Through my esophigus," and "Cows make leather." I also have had numorous number one hits including, "Down at Mcdonalds," "Amiright Rhapsody," and "Let me pee." I also reached 100 parodies recently. for number 100, I realiced a remake of my first parody called "Booze labeled cheep red wine" instead of "Red wine." My current hits are "Paintball Wizard" to the tune of "Pinball Wizard" and "12 days of Christmas(A students worst nightmare) I still submit regular parodies. My brother is also a parody writer: "Billy Florio" he has some good stuff here as well.
