The Lyrics
Steven Allen Walker was a friend of mine who was quite a character. I met him while working for various radio stations here in Sac doing promotional work. The guy was too cool with his mannerisms and his way with people. He once did sound effects and voices for Hollywood, worked for AMC, was a Forrester and firefighter in Oregon, and a chef for high class hotels. Into cinema, concerts, women, and telecommunications. He died in 2003. He was known locally as "The Walker."

His Javelin was his baby, but he also had a Gremlin for driving downtown, always paranoid to park the Javelin anywhere. He was featured in a cooking magazine in the 1980s, but I can't recall which one. The Black Mafia dude Mack was arrested at gunpoint. Steve abhored guns but loved samurai swords and martial arts. His pad was loaded with movie memorabilia, books, mounted swords, and beautiful seascapes. Always got the girls. I miss him...
