The Lyrics

Oh Kyle Busch
The Green Flag was Flying, and Jimmie Johnson Moves Fourth
Clint Bowyer started twelveth and falled down to sixteenth
Sam Hornish Jr. just moved it big
Marcos Ambrose started at last place
And Moved to the 29th place

Why did PJ and Patrick
made contact on turn 1?
Until two fords running in the top 10
Carl Edwards, Greg Biffle
And Allmendinger
He Gets Tires and Fuel
Dale Jr. takes the lead
If you hold on before Jimmie Comes
Can you hold on before Jimmie Comes
Thingsll go your way
Hold on for before Jimmie Comes

Jeff Gordon's Crew
is asking NASCAR to post his Number on the Board
But they can't pit thanks to a black flag
Jeff Gordon is running 23rd after pits
Jamie McMurray is having a strong run
David Gilliand is running 16th
And went thru the top 20

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is running sixth
behind Kyle Busch
Until Jimmie Johnson is coming
In turn number nine
And Allmendinger
Dont you know?
Kyle Busch is still
taking the lead
If you hold on before Tony comes
Can you hold on before Tony Comes
Thingsll go your way
Hold on for before Tony Comes

Oh, Ron Fellows
But you hold on for one more week and
last week you won at Montreal
Yeah, Kyle Busch did not pit
But you holded on before the #20 Leads
And Kyle Busch is in 2nd (Behind Tony)

Why did Travis Kvapil
tripped him to gravel?
Until, Dale Jr. is running 31st
after having to pit under caution
Dont you know?
Dont you know a Big Crash
In Turn Number 11
And a cars getting one-to-go signal
and Kyle Busch takes the lead (on Lap 86)

Dont you know Kyle Busch
continues to lead
And Kyle Busch holds on and he wins
And Kyle Busch wins

As the only person on the site who has parodied this song and knows the topic at hand, I thought I'd leave a review. This is not a parody, Jay. Aside from being labelled a parody of "Hold On", there is no way anyone would know to read or sing these lyrics to that song. There's no pace, no rhyming, no humor or satire, and the dizzying amount of grammatical and capitalization errors makes your 'review' close to unreadable. What you have is a jumble of words whose only resemblance to the original song is that the formats are vaguely similar.

You obviously like to write, but in all honesty your reviews/recaps would be better suited for blogs or news articles than a parody website. NASCAR is not a subject that has a lot of long-term humor potential in the first place, and even a well-written recap (which this is not) would be, as Jason bluntly put it, "boring" to read on a site designed for comedy writings.

You completely missed the target audience here, Jay. This isn't the first time you've gotten straight 1s from me or others, and it probably won't be the last.
