The Lyrics

Based on the virtual humor gallery http://www.icanhascheezburger.com, particularly its LOLCats segment.
I told my colleagues I was bored at work
And my productivity was down
I’m getting tired of Facebook and don’t
Want the boss to catch me playing games
My cubicle buddy emailed me
“LOLCats” was the subject line
I immediately clicked on it
And discovered kitty pics galore

I Can Has Cheezburger, I Can Has Cheezburger
That was what the,
The website was called
I Can Has Cheezburger, I Can Has Cheezburger
Misspelled captions
Are written on those pics

I saw a kitty with a snowman
It parodied “My Favorite Things”
Sparkly balls, mousies, and feathers on strings
White snowman with three buttons
The kitty looked really content there
With catnip cushions under his chin
Two kitties displayed “Hokey Pokey”
By putting out both their left paws

I Can Has Cheezburger, I Can Has Cheezburger
There you can find
Cute kitty pictures
I Can Has Cheezburger, I Can Has Cheezburger
Misspelled captions
Anger grammar nazis

I saw a kitty wearing a Burberry scarf
And on a video was a begging kitty
A black and white kitty with a mustache asks
Why he’d be high on magic markers
You can even create your own caption on some of the pictures
It might get added to the site
Or you can save it
So you’ll “has” memento for you from

I Can Has Cheeeeeeezbuuuurrrrrgerrrrrrrrr
Caveat: actually browsing ICanHasCheezburger.com at work could get you fired if you're at the wrong place at the wrong time. But it's fun nevertheless. (Heck, I even browse it myself sometimes... just not on the job.)

I don't know a thing about Veggie Tales but have written on Lazy Town and wide-range of cartoons and FIlmation series. 5s regardless! Btw, Nazis should be capitalized ;-)

My niece watches and listens to Veggie Tales, so I would hear the songs every now and then. I've watched some cartoons myself when I was younger, but I was more into Sailor Moon, Daria, etc. Thanks for the vote (and the capitalization). =)

I know nothing about VeggieTales (the only kids' TV shows I'm a fan of are Spongebob Squarepants, the original version of Pokemon, iCarly and Victorious) and DKTOS, but I Can Haz Cheezburger? is a funny site and this looks like a well-written parody.

Thanks, Andria! (I just now saw your comment... sorry for taking so long to comment back!) The first time I heard Veggie Tales is at summer camp, when the campers and counselors would sing Veggie Tales songs any chance they got. My younger niece watches (and listens to) Veggie Tales. It's a Christian-based show where the characters perform silly songs with an underlying message. I like I Can Haz Cheezburger also, especially the LOLCats pics.

My daughter loves cats, so I did a LOL-cat parody about 14 months ago called "Caturday (In The Park)" A highly unappreciated, minor non-masterpiece. Check it out sometime, Becky Dub
