One day, five teenage tomboyish girls are being sent skyward into the heavens, where they meet Mistress Prism, a Lady of War. Mistress Prism did not want to be shifted into a more tomboyish stereotype, so she sacrificed her five elements to the teenage tomboys themselves, who become The Rainbow Girls, a five-tomboy clan chosen to protect Rainbow Valley from the forces of evil! They are Wynter Frost (team leader and Blue Rainbow Girl of ice), Charissa Burnett (Red Rainbow Girl of fire), Gayle Storms (Pink Rainbow Girl of wind), Eartha Hill (Yellow Rainbow Girl of stone), and Jordan Electra (Green Rainbow Girl of electricity).
