I thought I might put this parody song together as a reminder of the democratic debates that are going on next week (at time of posting the song). Also, If you haven't already decided on which candidate to satirize for the my "Dem Funny Hindsights" parody contest on in the 00's, "the choices are still open". Sorry. That thread has been quiet lately and I have not heard any questions or anyone claiming candidates. One satirist, one song, per candidate which will only count after he/she drops out of the race. Nobody doubles up. Good luck with Steve Bullock, Seth Moulton, and Wayne Messam.

+ = A trapeze is usually used for being able to swing on a rope across two high platforms. This analogy would relate to the fact that establishment politicians who don't rock the boat, will never get anywhere by doing nothing. They won't risk the fall, even though they should. * = Santa Claus is all about giving presents to people. Whether it ties to socialism or not, you might find that some democratic platforms involve providing some mention of welfare to Americans. That could mean new spending programs for example. "The government can only help people, if it gives money away to solve their problems. Wah!"
